It seems that the idea of luxury will soon have a new definition. According to one ambitious project in London plans to build a “celestial pool” (“Sky Pool”), which consists entirely of glass and is… at the height of 10 floors above the ground. The length of the pool will be 25 meters, width — 5 m and depth 3 m. It is made of glass 20 cm thick and will link together two houses in London’s Nine Elms. The construction of the complex will begin this year, and in 2018, customers will be able to move in.
“My vision of the “Heavenly pool” is to push the boundaries of construction and engineering, — says General Director of the developer Sean Mulryan. — I would like to do something that had never been done before. This transparent structure will be the result of significant achievements in the field of advanced technologies applied in the last decade. It will be something completely new and unique. People will feel in this pool as if floating in the air over Central London.”
